Fees and Scheduling
FREE CONSULTATION
I am happy to set up a free 20-minute consultation so that we can get to know each other and discuss your counseling needs. This is the first step toward getting scheduled for ongoing counseling sessions and allows us to get a general sense of whether we are a good fit for therapeutic services. Feel free to contact me here or email me at savery@coastaltrailscounseling.com to schedule your free consult. I look forward to hearing from you!
SCHEDULING
I typically schedule once-per-week sessions with new clients. Less frequent session times (biweekly or monthly) are available but limited.
CURRENT FEES
My fee for service ranges between $135 and $185 for Individual Therapy (53 Minute Session). Payments for counseling sessions are taken following each session and are charged to the card that is kept in your secure online file.
A late cancellation or no show fee of $65.00 is charged if a cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance of a scheduled appointment or if a client does not show up to a scheduled appointment.
INSURANCE
Coastal Trails Holistic Counseling currently accepts OHP Care Oregon, OHP Trillium, Aetna, Providence, and Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield. You can contact your insurer to determine your co-pay and whether you have a yearly deductible that must be met before you are able to use your mental health benefits.
OUT-OF-NETWORK SUPERBILLS
If your insurance is out-of-network for me and my practice, I am happy to provide a superbill which is an itemized document that shows a list of services that you have received from me. This superbill can sometimes be submitted to your insurance company to receive reimbursement for out-of-network services. Contact your insurance provider about out-of-network benefits, prior authorizations, and superbill submission processes.
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE (NO SURPRISES ACT)
Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
